The greatest power of #Bones
Those are the episodes where Bones wins hands down over any other shows.
When it exhibits all the depth and the delicacy of its characters, in association with a very good writing and an outstanding direction, there is no competition whatsoever.
I loved this episode from every possible angle, starting from the way David Boreanaz took some of the shots, leaving me with the impression that when they found out the truth about Wendell, their time just froze (as in the scene above), while the world kept running, unaware of what was happening.
I’m still not over the idea of Wendell having to fight the cancer, it’s not fair, he is too young, and vital… and the way B&B reacted, without pulling him, and just being there for him… it was heart-crushing… still, that’s when Bones shows all it has to give, when you understand its real nature as “people show,” not just another crime TV program to add to a long list.
